Vintage Musical Whisky decanter. Decanter is in very nice condition. Musical chime similar to a music box sound starts when the decanter is lifted up. Winding mechanism is on the bottom. Made of metal and plastic with a glass bottle inside. Stands about 11" high and 4" across.
Made in Japan
Made in Hong Kong, it is 11" tall, base is 3 an 7/8 inches diameter (3 an 7/8" across side to side), 4.5" across outside to outside what would be water outlets, 3 3/8 inches across midway of body outside to outside.
You are looking at a highly collecible musical decanter in the form of a fire hydrant. I believe it is a pre 1970s piece. It is in great condition except for some minor paint scratches. It winds up and plays “How Dry I Am!” The music is very clear and the winding mechanism works perfectly. When you remove the top it reveals the pouring spout for the decanter. It is 11 inches tall and almost 4 inches wide at the base it is a little wider at the top w the caps and chains are.
It's a lovely novelty piece and I don't think it's ever been used. We’ve never used it except for display.
It's in great condition with minimal wear.
This would make a great gift for the fire fighter in your life or for the collector of music boxes or fire fighting equipment.
Made in Hong Kong on tag on bottom.
